La Marina has a well developed urbanisation with many different nationalities residing. Local amenities include several banks, three public swimming pools, snooker club, bowling club, supermarkets, national health doctor, Health Centre, private clinic, chemist, several newsagents and plenty of bars and restaurants (Spanish, English, Italian, Chinese, Indian and German cuisine).
